On March 29th, we said a fond farewell to one of our longstanding colleagues who has announced her retirement. Litigation Executive, Jane Canning has been with Gadsby Wicks since 1996 and has enjoyed a successful career at the firm. An accredited APIL Senior Litigator with experience in handling a wide range of medical negligence claims, Jane has been particularly respected for her work on claims involving mental health.
“On behalf of everyone at Gadsby Wicks, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Jane immensely for all her hard work over the past twenty-plus years” says Gillian Gadsby, Managing Partner and Co-Founder. “Jane has shown tireless dedication to getting compensation for patients who have been injured in the course of their medical treatment (or due to the lack thereof) and I know that there are many families whose lives have been helped significantly as a consequence of her expertise. We wish her well in her retirement pursuits.”
Gadsby Wicks recruits lawyers with specialist expertise and commitment
As we say goodbye to Jane, we welcome specialist medical negligence solicitor Nimisha Bhayani.
Gillian adds: “Nimisha was an impressive performer throughout our rigorous recruitment process and we are delighted that she has chosen to accept this position with us. We have always felt it important that, in addition to the specialist knowledge and expertise that we insist upon, any new colleague also has the personal approach that is needed to support clients throughout the process of their medical negligence claim. I have no doubt that Nimisha will bring this and more to her role in the firm and we welcome her warmly to our team.”
