Concerns Over Counterfeit Drugs

NHS patients have been supplied with counterfeit drugs. In the past 2 years the NHS has discovered 5 instances of counterfeit drugs being supplied to patients and many more cases are under investigation.

The Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulation Agency have announced that there is a growing danger of counterfeit drugs being provided by the NHS as counterfeit drug manufacturers target the wholesalers who supply the NHS.
